Before there was a counter on East Main Street, there was a trailer with a flame on the side, parked at car shows and community events around Central New York. Quesabirria off the griddle, consommé on the side, a line in the grass.
That truck is still running. What's new is the address: 243 East Main Street, right in the village of Elbridge, serving neighbors across Onondaga and Cayuga County.
All of these landed before the counter opened, from people who found the truck first.
Had the beef quesadilla and it was amazing! The beef was marinated and had a savory almost nutmeg flavor. That mixed with their homemade salsa was a super flavorful combo. Also got tacos and a burrito and it was all authentic and tasty! Highly recommend!
Amazing food and great service at Taqueria Simon! The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt comfortable and authentic. Everything came out just the way I wanted. Definitely a spot I would come back to again. Highly recommend if you're craving good Mexican food!
